Director General of the Roscosmos State Corporation Yuri Borisov held a meeting with State Secretary of the Belarus-Russia Union State Dmitry Mezentsev, BelTA learned from the Standing Committee of the Union State.
The parties discussed future cooperation between Roscosmos, the National Academy of Sciences and Belarusian industrial enterprises related to space activities.
They also raised a question of developing a Russian-Belarusian spacecraft of Earth remote sensing with the subsequent formation of the Union State space group.
The parties agreed to set up working groups on other promising areas and programs in the space industry.
