Investment activity is the most important aspect of the social and economic development of the district.

Every year, district organizations invest from 200 to 360 million US dollars in technical re-equipment of enterprises, improvement of the quality and competitiveness of manufactured products, strengthening of positions in existing sales markets and development of new ones.

The most important investment projects and events in 2023:

construction of a complex for hydrocracking of black oil fuel at OJSC “Mozyr Oil Refinery”;
modernization of existing production to expand the product range of OJSC “Belaruskabel”,
technical re-equipment of CPUE "Mozyr Dairy Products",
construction of a milking and dairy block, two cowsheds at the dairy farm in s. Tvorichevka, s. Bol'shiye Zimovishchi, Mozyr district";
construction of poultry house 4 "B", CAUE "Sovkhoz-kombinat "Zarya" in v. Lyakhovtsy;
reconstruction of a calf barn for 300 heads for raising cattle in Derbinki settlement;
reconstruction of the educational building No. 3 on Berezovy Lane into a preschool educational institution for 280 children";
modernization of the boiler house of СZhUE "Mozyr district housing and communal services" on Vera Khoruzhaya str., 16V/3;
modernization of the boiler house of СZhUE "Mozyr district housing and communal services" on Shveyny lane, 4 in Mozyr";
reconstruction of the engineering infrastructure of FEZ "Gomel-Raton" (electricity supply network) near Mikhalkovsky village council, 15, Mozyr district";
construction of a woodworking plant of LLC "Mozyr Lumber Mill".

In 2023, 605.6 million rubles were invested in the social and economic development of the district.

In 2023, 937.6 thousand US dollars of direct foreign investment were attracted to the real sector of the district's economy.

One of the main areas of development of the district is the effective functioning of the construction complex, where the construction of high-quality and affordable housing remains among the most important priorities.

In 2023, the volume of construction and installation works amounted to 308.5 million rubles, a growth rate of 105.4%.

Every year, from 50 to 80 thousand square meters of residential buildings are commissioned in Mozyr district.
