As of 8 August the regional breakdown looks the following: 238,700ha (or 69% of the plan) were harvested in Brest Oblast, 81,600ha (22.5%) in Vitebsk Oblast, 172,600ha (49.8%) in Gomel Oblast, 101,200ha (33.2%) in Grodno Oblast, 167,700ha (37.4%) in Minsk Oblast, 102,500ha (30.9%) in Mogilev Oblast.
All in all, 3,243,400 tonnes of grain were threshed in Belarus, with the average yield at 37.5 centners per hectare. Malt barley was harvested from 24,300ha of land (44.4% of the designated area), with 103,300 tonnes threshed (the average yield stood at 42.6 centners per hectare). Winter rapeseed for grain was gathered in from 263,400ha of land or 85.5% of the targeted area, with 690,500 tonnes threshed at the average yield of 26.2 centners per hectare. Flax was cleared from the area of 31,400 hectares (70.9%).
As part of the second cutting agricultural workers cut down grass on 791,500 hectares or 77.5% of the targeted area. Some 680,200 tonnes of hay (71.2% of the target), 11.567 million tonnes of haylage (86.1%), and 315,200 tonnes of silage (1.65%) were produced.
